This is the cover art I designed for The Rabbit Hole Project and their EP named: Mental Maladies and Maladjusted Melodies. The title alone probably says a lot; their music and story are quite heavy.
The band basically gave me a free hand on the artwork, for which I stuck to a typically heavy and distorted image. I have to give much thanks to Hydro74 (Joshua M. Smith), who provided me with his unique “Dirty Sanchez” type face that perfectly fitted the cd design and music as a logo. After making several type treatments we felt this one was just spot on.
