Despite the clean feel to it this is a very dark and very expressive personal artwork. It suggests life and a harmlessness, but it also destroys and overpowers that very suggestion. The total imagery is a contradiction with two sides both right and wrong, it’s probably the most cynical piece I’ve ever done so far.
“It says to me that in a bright world, without our fake fronts, our fake personas, and our own masks, survivability in most of what we face is impossible.”
