Forerunner album design & artwork

The band Tera from Northern Ireland asked me to do the cover design for their new album: Forerunner. They felt like there should be a spaced, weird, weightless, somber, dark, nature/natural and sad element to reflect their music in an image. This was mainly because of the story they bring forth with this album.

It’s a very personal album reflecting several things; like their atheist viewpoints and dislike to religious belief, sad events from 2 of the band members, general politics as well as their liberal views and their own rationalizations. All pretty daunting and heavy stuff.
